Limited Sponsorships and Individual Tickets Available

Halifax Humane Society announced today that a select number of sponsor tables and individual tickets remain for the sure-to-sell out 14th Annual Paws & Pearls Fur Ball, featuring Emmy®-winning television personality Brandon McMillan, star of CBS’s “Lucky Dog” and Discovery Channel’s Shark Week.

The black-tie gala, presented by Subaru of Daytona, will take place on Thursday, December 5, 2024, at the beautiful Ocean Center in Daytona Beach. WKMG-TV News 6 Anchor Ginger Gadsden will emcee the event where Michele Connors of S.R. Perrott will receive the prestigious Animal Hero Award, and the Volusia County Sheriff’s K9 Officer of the Year will be announced. The event aims to raise $400,000 to support the organization’s lifesaving mission of preventing animal cruelty and providing care for upwards of 15,000 dogs and cats each year.

“Party Animals from across Central Florida will join us to welcome Brandon McMillan as our special guest for this year’s Paws & Pearls Fur Ball,” said Sean Hawkins, CAWA, CFRE, CEO of Halifax Humane Society. “Brandon’s dedication to transforming shelter dogs’ lives on ‘Lucky Dog’ perfectly aligns with our mission. His presence will help shine a spotlight on the critical work we do every day to give homeless animals a second chance.”

Gala Chairwoman Nancy Lohman said, “We could not be more excited about the Fur Ball this year, sharing the stage with so many people who love animals. “Our VIP guests will experience the red carpet with our Hollywood Star Brandon McMillan. Everyone will enjoy a gourmet dinner and listen to music by The Moonlighters and dance the evening away to the tunes of Pyramid DJs.”

Fetch Pet Insurance, Cici & Hyatt Brown, Brown & Brown Insurance, Lohman Management, and WKMG-TV New 6 are Diamond Sponsors of this year’s unofficial kick-off to the holiday season. Limited sponsorships and individual tickets are available at Gala.HalifaxHumaneSociety.org.
