A Place to Run, Play, and Be a Dog
Halifax Humane Society’s Community Dog Park is a free, off-leash park for Volusia County’s dogs and the people who love them — open every day, rain or shine.
About the Park
Since opening in 2016, our Community Dog Park has given Volusia County’s dogs three acres of space to run, play, and just be dogs. The park was made possible by an ECHO grant from Volusia County — funded by the local taxpayers who invest in the parks, trails, and cultural spaces that make our community better for people and pets alike. It’s proudly supported by Subaru of Daytona, a longtime partner in Halifax Humane Society’s mission.
Located on our main campus off LPGA Boulevard near I-95, the park is a favorite stop for local dog owners and traveling pet parents alike — and every visit helps support the shelter’s lifesaving work next door.
