Halifax Humane Society Board of Directors
The Halifax Humane Society’s Board of Directors serves as a
dedicated volunteer oversight body, guiding the organization’s vision and
mission. Board members select and support the staff leadership, who is responsible
for implementing programs and initiatives. As fiduciaries, the board is
committed to steering the organization toward a sustainable future by adopting
sound ethical and legal governance practices. They also ensure that the society
has the necessary resources to advance its mission effectively.
