There are a variety of ways to get involved with Halifax Humane Society! We offer opportunities for all ages and specialties.
PLEASE NOTE:
Foster Orientation, Volunteer Orientation, and Dog Walking Classes are available in person only on the last Saturday of every month.

Want a pet now, but can't make a 15-year commitment? Have time and space to help a homeless animal? Want to make a HUGE difference in the life of an animal? If you answered yes, then you could be a perfect foster care parent!
HHS has an Annual Sponsorship Program and per event sponsorships.

We make updates to Facebook on a daily basis. We also cross post to Twitter and Instagram. When we have needs such as fosters for kittens, or dry dog food due to increased strays after a hurricane, the most effective method of communication to the public is through social media.
We can always use another partner to help us care for our community's animals. Whether a pet food donation, or a monetary contribution, we are always very grateful.
Many partners donate their time or services to HHS. Helping us maintain our campus is a very valuable resource and much appreciated.
