About This Event

Help us close out Clear the Shelters Week with our Clear the Shelters Crescendo Kick-Off on Friday, August 7, from 12–6 p.m. at the Lohman Pet Adoption Center at Halifax Humane Society, located at 2364 LPGA Blvd., Daytona Beach, FL 32124.

Adoption fees will be waived for all dogs and cats throughout the event! Dog adopters will receive a complimentary 15-pound bag of food, six months of Heartgard Plus®, and a Benebone, while adopters of cats will receive a complimentary 15-pound bag of food and a scratcher.

A food truck will be onsite from 12–3 p.m., and guests can also stop by our Pup Cup Station to treat a shelter dog and enter our raffle for the chance to win a tumble tower set or pickleball set generously donated by Boehringer Ingelheim. Come grab a bite, meet our adoptable pets, and join us for an exciting day of adoption and community fun!

This event is part of NBCUniversal’s Clear the Shelters Week, co-sponsored by Hill’s Pet Nutrition. We also extend our sincere appreciation to WESH 2 and Boehringer Ingelheim for their generous support throughout the week.
