About This Event

Help us bring Clear the Shelters Week to an exciting close at our Final Crescendo Celebration on Saturday, August 8, from 12–6 p.m. at the Lohman Pet Adoption Center at Halifax Humane Society, located at 2364 LPGA Blvd., Daytona Beach, FL 32124.

Adoption fees will be waived for all dogs and cats throughout the event! Dog adopters will receive a complimentary 15-pound bag of food, six months of Heartgard Plus®, and a Benebone, while adopters of cats will receive a complimentary 15-pound bag of food and a scratcher.

This fun-filled family event will feature a delicious food truck throughout the day, face painting from 1–6 p.m., and handcrafted mocktails and pawtails. Guests can also stop by our KONG filling station to treat a shelter dog and enter our raffle for the chance to win a Tumble Tower set or pickleball set generously donated by Boehringer Ingelheim. Come enjoy the festivities while meeting adoptable pets and experiencing the joy of helping an animal begin a new chapter.

This event is part of NBCUniversal’s Clear the Shelters Week, co-sponsored by Hill’s Pet Nutrition. We also extend our sincere appreciation to WESH 2 and Boehringer Ingelheim for their generous support throughout the week.
