Pals of Animal Welfare & Sheltering (PAWS) Summer Camp

We look forward to having a fantastic Summer Camp in 2019! We will have a brand new education room that will offer many interactive activities for kids.

Halifax Humane Society offers a yearly summer camp for children ages 6-11 (ages vary by camp) at the shelter to learn firsthand experience about shelter life as well as more information about dogs, cats, bunnies, birds, marine life, and more. The children will tour various areas of the HHS shelter, work with HHS staff, hear from the HHS certified dog trainer, learn from the staff veterinarian, and learn from various wildlife experts that visit the camp. A field trip to the Marine Science Center in Ponce Inlet is also included in the camp.

The camp is open to children ages 6-8 & 9-11, and offers the perfect experience for a young animal lover. Five camps are held each year.

The camp runs from 9am-3pm daily at the HHS shelter at 2364 LPGA Boulevard.
