Halifax Humane Society to Host Pet Adoption Event as part of the ASPCA & Subaru Loves Pets Grant Program

Daytona Beach, FL – Halifax Humane Society (HHS) and Subaru of Daytona are together hosting a “Howl-o-ween” themed adoption event October 23, 2021 from 11:00 pm to 3:00 pm. This project was made possible through a generous grant from the ASPCA® (The American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals®).

The event will be held at Subaru of Daytona located at 670 N. Tomoka Farms Road, Daytona Beach, FL just north of International Speedway. Bring the family and your well-behaved leashed dog to enjoy the fun…..games….. food…..giveaways……Halloween pet costume contest……and Tremble broadcasting live for the Vibe.  Enter for a chance to win a free “Winter Camp Experience” at HHS for youth ages 6-12.

Our goal is to have at least thirty animal adoptions at the event.  Adoption fees are sponsored by Subaru of Daytona.

Media should arrive by 10:45 am.

About Halifax Humane Society

Halifax Humane Society is a 501(c)(3) private nonprofit organization servicing the Greater Daytona Beach area in Volusia County, Florida since 1937.  It exists to protect animals from cruel, neglectful, and exploitative treatment.  Halifax Humane Society is an open-door animal shelter that refuses service to no animal in need.

As one of the largest humane societies in Florida, Halifax Humane Society provides a full array of humane programs that allow it to provide service to over 25,000 animals each year.  Through generous donations of time and money, the Halifax Humane Society provides shelter for lost and abandoned animals, delivers humane education to its citizens, creates a pet-friendly environment in its local community, and prevents overpopulation of animals by offering affordable spay/neuter opportunities.
