Honorariums
Giving in honor of someone is great way to donate to a worthy charity in place of things like a birthday present, Christmas present, or wedding gift. The person who you are giving in honor of will receive special recognition of your gift from the Halifax Humane Society.

Planned Giving
There are several ways our supporters can ensure our long term health by making a planned gift. Options range naming the HHS in your will to setting up complex annuities that provide a stream of income. Members Give Online allows you to make a donation using your American Express® Card or, if you are enrolled in the Membership Rewards® program, you can redeem your points for a donation. Donations will be processed through the American Express Giving website and not by the Halifax Humane Society. Make sure we know how to credit your donation! Please fill out the designate or dedicate your donation fields at the bottom of the page so we know if it’s a memorial, membership, or other area. Thank you for your support.
Why Should I Give?
Our first priority at the HHS is to house, feed, and provide medical care to the animals we take in until they find a forever home. And unlike other rescue groups, we never turn an animal away. But there is so much more that we do for our community. Did you know that if you can't afford to feed your animal, we will give you food? Did you know that we offer free and low cost spay/neuter procedures to help cure the animal overpopulation problem in Volusia County? Did you know that 88 cents of every dollar we raise goes directly to the animals? When you give to the HHS, you give to an organization dedicated to making a difference.
