February 8 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM	Yappy Hour	Join us with your 4-legged friend on Wednesday, February 8th at McK's Tavern in beautiful downtown Daytona for Yappy Hour! Yappy Hour is from 5:30-7:30 and only costs $5.00 per person. It includes light appetizers & 2 drinks. We will have some raffle prizes to give away as well!
February 18 10:00 AM - 1:00 PM	Community Hearts 4 Paws	Community Hearts 4 Paws is a fun family event that benefits the Halifax Humane Society. It takes place from 10am-1pm on Saturday, February 18, at the Faith Lutheran Church. The church is located at Tymber Creek and Highway 40 in Ormond Beach. Pet food donations will be greatly appreciated at the event, which features a 2-feet & 4-paw race, pie-eating contest, bone in a haystack , blessing of the pets, obstacle course, face painting, bounce house, raffles, prizes , bake sale, food/drinks, and much more!

March 8 5:00 PM	Ruff Ride	Join us during Bike Week for the Halifax Humane Society Ruff Ride! Meet for the ride at 5:00pm here at the Shelter, and kick stands go up at 5:30. The escorted ride rolls through the Ormond Beach Loop and ends with a VIP party at the Bank & Blues Club on Main Street. Tickets are $15 if pre-registered through the website, and $20 day of event. The VIP reception includes full dinner buffet, 1 drink ticket, and live entertainment.
March 31 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM	2012 Mutt Strutt 5K	Join us for the 2012 Mutt Strutt 5K! Registration is at 8:00am, and the race begins at 9:00am at the Daytona Beach Bandshell & Beach Area. Parking is available at the Public Ocean Walk Garage. This is a free, non-competitive event for all ages, including 4-legged friends that are leashed and well-behaved. We are looking for sponsors & walk teams, please contact Jessica at (386) 274-4703 ext. 328 if you are interested. If you’d like to register and create a walk team, you can also join through www.hhsmuttstrutt.org.
