Halifax Humane Society & Herd Racing team up to help animals!

Barbara Matzelle & Patti Thalheimer with the
#75 racecar

Barbara's son Mike Matzelle, also an animal friend is a shock specialist for Herd Racing. Although she lives in Charleston, S.C., Barbara is sharing her love of pets with the team at Daytona by securing the sponsorship for HHS, a local animal shelter that cares for thousands of homeless animals each year.

HHS would like to thank Barbara Matzelle, Herd Racing and everyone involved with this great honor and support of our shelter. Join us in rooting for the #75 Herd Dodge this race the team that cares about animals.

Thanks to animal advocate Barbara Matzelle, the Halifax Humane Society logo and website are racing around the Daytona track during this year's Speedweeks. We are prominently featured on the rear panel above the bumper of the # 75 Nationwide Series race car driven by Brett Lowe along with a touching memorial of Barbara's beloved dog, Jessie.
